When in Chimicum...

So I (Chris) was raised with plastic Christmas trees. They're cheap, you only have to buy one for years of fun, they don't have bald spots or shed needles. Heather came from a place where you can't throw a rock without hitting a Christmas tree! She loves the smell, the "character" of each tree's unique shape each year, the experience of getting a new tree each year (and furthering climate change). So once again my beautiful wife reminded me that a happy wife makes a happy home and we bought a real tree - But hey she's worth it. It was fun to buy and to decorate though. The only one who hated the experience was Mason who couldn't keep his hands off of it and soon found out we weren't going to let him. And thus continue the Adventures of Mason . . . and the Mysterious Case of the Hidden CHRISTMAS NINJAS. . .

Mason was uneasy. His guardians had unsuspectingly brought home a large evergreen without inspecting it for any possible threat.

He tried to escape the Christmas pictures to get to the tree before it was too late. . .

He tried to explain to his guardians just how many ninjas could be hiding in that tree this instant - trying to assassinate them in their sleep, but they wouldn't listen!

He tried to sneak away to the tree, but every time he tried his guardians would follow sending the ninjas back into hiding. . .

He knew there was nothing left to do, but to wait and hope. . .that the ninjas . . . would be merciful
Oh, who was he kidding. . . they would all be dead by morning. . . oh well, Merry Christmas!
